DETAILED RULES:
read them at your own risk, but don't complain to me if you haven't done it :)

The Rules:

  • modification of the rules is not likely to happen during the season, and if it can occur only after a vote/opinion ask in the forum
  • if anything is unclear ask the race administrator

The Schedule:

  • A season lasts for one year, and consists of 12 races.
  • All times and dates on the site are in GMT+1, it's the official time zone of the competition :)
  • Every track lasts for one month, starting 0:00 on the first day, and ending 21:00 on the last day of the month.
  • Track deadline is 21:00 on the last day of the track. Replays RECEIVED after that time are invalid.
  • Last two days of each track are called 'quiet days'. No updates on the scoreboard are made then, except if you send the time.
  • Leading-time calculation (explained later) lasts from the first Monday 0:00h of the track until the quiet days start.
  • There could be racks with special rules during the summertime. These count as normal competition tracks.

The System:

  • Every racer should send his own replays with the web form after he has registered
  • Current scoreboard is generated automatically each time you check it
  • Seasonal and team scores are refreshed every 10min, according to the current standings.
  • The admin can change ANY TIME your submitted result after checking the replay
  • Any form of system abuse results in the banning from the competition

Teams:

  • It's highly recommended for you to join or form a team. It greatly improves your racing skills, and your motivation to race.
  • Teams consist of minimum 2,  maximum 5 racers.
  • You can join any team if allowed, but if you joined one, you can't leave it through the year, only with losing all your team points.
  • When you join a team, and you didn't have one before all your previous results count as the team's too.
  • If you form a new team, every member must send me a confirmation email, and the team's name, possibly a team logo.
  • Team members may share their knowledge or replays, but it's forbidden to race in the name of an other teammate, or to use a part of your mate's replay for continuing.

  • Leading Time Bonus (LTB):
The system tracks how much you were on the top of the scoreboard. The one with the most time gets +2 bonus points, the one with the second most time gets +1 bonus point each month. To earn a bonus point you must have at least 48 hours leading time, if you have below this value, you won't get the point. Every new track is out on saturday, leading time calculation starts on next Monday 0:00h, and lasts until the quiet days

Seasonal + Team Scoring:

  • Your seasonal score is the summary of the points you earned on the tracks + your bonuses earned
  • Your two worst results don't count at the season's rankings. (missing a track some kind of a result too :)
  • Team score is the summary of the best two member's points each track.
  • None of the bonus points count for teams.

Most Important Rule:

  • ENJOY RACING! ;)

Special rules

IRL Driving rules (used on: ZCT71)

The International Driving Association has found, that Stunts Racers are careless and reckless. Therefore they said, it is required that each driver goes through a process where they get various licenses. They also forced us to pass a basic license test! Damn!
The test consists of a mud/ice road drive, driving uphill and downhill (corkscrew). Then after a short drive in the city you enter the highway, which finally leads you back to the start on the top of the hill.
Follow these rules to meet the requirements:

  • You have to drive always in the right lane. Just like in real life when you drive. That means none of the wheels may leave the lane in any moment.
  • On the highway you also must use the rightmost lane.
  • Demo replay is included with the track. Check it if you have concerns.

6th gear only (used on: ZCT72)

The International Driving Association set another requirement for you, Stunts Drivers. You have passed the basic license, but some Stunts Cars have a special thing. Yes, the 6th gear. You have to be fast but cautious, and if you want to be a great driver you got to master the 6th gear. So what are the rules now?

  • Select manual transmission
  • When arriving to the loop (or in the loop) switch to the 5th gear
  • When exiting the loop you got to be in power gear and go with 245mph
  • You may not leave 6th gear during the whole track! You must not press the gas continously, but you may not leave power gear!
  • Find the best driving line to achive good times. Penalty time is your problem, as usual.
  • If you are having troubles at the tunnels, use the shortcut (with penalty) marked with the red arrow:

If unsure about how to make sharp turns with power gear, check the attached replay.

  • Broken Gearbox (used on: ZCT73)

So now you are a fully qualified and expert Stunt Driver. Congratulations! What could be better than hopping into your free Ferrari and speeding through a nice track? With the admiring view of Helen Wheels? Not much, sure. But problems can occur. Like this time. when you realize your car has a broken transmission. This way the dream turns into a nightmare. Or not? It's up to your skills! Here is what you have to do this time:

  • Select manual transmission
  • Start the race as usually, but you have to switch to 3rd gear before the obstacle in the pipe. (marked on the map too)
  • You may not switch from this point. Neither up nor down (assume your gearbox is broken). Stay in 3rd gear till the finish.
  • The red line marks the spot where from you mustn't leave 3rd gear anymore:

If unsure about how to finish the track, check the attached replay.

  • No Brakes (used on: ZCT74)

With expert driving you have survived the horror of the broken gearbox in the Ferrari. Well, you can never trust an Italian car they say. :) So this time you made sure not to have any problems and chose a reliable German Porsche. But on the racetrack you realize you are in an even greater trouble than before: Your car was sabotaged by an opponent, and the brake cables were cut. You can't brake!!! So here is the only requirement this time for you, simple and easy:

  • Do not touch the brake key (down arrow)

  • If unsure about how to finish the track, check the attached replay.

    Pitstop (used on: ZCT75)

Your manager thought it's time to start you in a really serious race. He chose one, where two drivers have to switch eachother, while racing 2 laps on a track. He also managed to pay enough to good old Skid Vicious to be your partner. But Skid didn't show up at the race! Your manager fainted, but you have no other choice: you have to race in his name too, after your first lap go to the pits and then do the second lap too. Lots of work! So here is the only requirement this time for you:

    • Use the short track (yellow arrows) for your first lap and go to the pit lane in order to change pilot at your pitstop (yellow circle).
    • In the pit lane (between the 2 aborted pipes in purple circle) you can't use shortcuts and have to always keep one wheel on or over the road.
    • You don't have to stop at the pitstop, just race throught the ghost car in front of the fuel station (yellow circle) and your pilot will be considered changed.
    • Second lap, race the longer track (red arrows), then finish

If unsure about how to finish the track, check the attached replay (coming soon).

    Crash (used on: ZCT76)

After beeing forced to race the 2 laps of Zct75 track alone, you are rally angry at Skid. Seeing you so crazy about him, Skid prefer to flee like a coward and takes his personnal car. You engage a pursuit to catch him with your own car too. Your target is to catch him before he can fly away (that is the end of ZCT76 track).

Special rules for this track :
    - You have to race with LM002 original car
    - You have to race versus Skid with LM002 too
    - You have to keep your car straight until you reach 1st tunnel to let Skid use the left corner
    - You have to race the longer way (pink arrow) while Skid must race the shorter way (red arrow)
    - You have to chase Skid and crash your car on his car before the end of the lap
    - In case Skid reach the finish line before you catch him, you have to add 3 seconds penalty when sending your replay (this is to motivate slower racers to catch Skid, even if it's just before the finish line like in demo replay)
    - If Skid crashes himself, replay is not considered valid
    - If Skid doesn't turn to take the shorter way, replay is not valid

If unsure about how to finish the track, check the attached replay (coming soon).

    Offroad (used on: ZCT77)

So now finally Skid isout of the picture... But what next? The season got short$ Only three races left. One of them will be a serious brain work. The race comit$ you'll have to find your way Offroad.

Special rules for this track :
    - Each tunnel is a checkpoint. (see yellow circles)
    - Go through each checkpoint in ANY order.
    - Jumping over a tunnel is NOT considered passing the checkpoint.
    - Be creative, find your own way :)

If unsure about how to finish the track, check the attached replay.

    Choices (used on: ZCT78)

So, are you prepared for some brainwork and calculations? If you are, try the n$ You can select from 24 ways to reach the finish. They ways have little differen$ But every millisecond counts...
Special rules for this track :
    - The track sections are located between tunnels, and are marked on the he$
    - You have to cross the starting and the finishing tunnel of the chosen se$
    - You have to select each coloured way once and only once. So for example $

If unsure about how to finish the track, check the attached replay.

    BAFAP (used on: ZCT79)

BAFAP. The mother of all Stunts Rules:
    Be
    As
    Fast
    As
    Possible

We dont care how. Just race.

    NoRH competition

Do you know what Replay Handling is? I bet you know. If you don`t, go first and learn about it in the Driving School.
If you already know what RH is and dislike it enough to try racing without it, this is your place.

    • The main rule in NoRH competition is, that if you crash, you must start over the track from the beginning. You are not allowed to rewind the replay. OK, pausing and resting for a while before grabbing the wheel (keyboard) again is valid :)
    • NoRH competition is based on trust more than anything else in Stunts Competitions. Since we cannot check if you have used RH (rewinding your replay and continuing from there) in your sent replay or not, we simply take your word and vow, that you haven`t.
    • In order not to have any objection to cheat, in NoRH competition there are no points, nor seasonal or team scores. It`s just an opportunity to have a clean race between veteran racers, and those who dislike Replay Handling
    • Some can be suspicious. If you have a very good time, some may accuse you by using RH. If you haven`t, and your soul is clean, ignore their words, defend your right. If you are a cheater, sooner or later the others will surely ignore you.
    • You can send your NoRH replay at the "Send Replay" menu item after logging in. Simply change the Competition field to ZCTXX NoRH, and send your replay as you usually do.
    • The rest of the rules simply follow the main championship`s rules, without the baffling about point systems of course, which are not needed here.
    • Remember this is only an opportunity to have some more extra fun. The best driver is officially alyways the one on the top of the real scoreboard. If you want to win and become the best at all costs, try it there. Don`t ruin other`s fun.
