@Ryoma - Yes, I can do that. The car image is calculated from the shape and the wheel is produced. It's just a grey circle with a lighter grey smaller circle in it. It can't draw it at angles, so wheels at any other place can look weird.
Ryoma
@Cas first of all thank you. Maybe a dos one like a dos command like "sideview stoxia.3sh". For the wheel, it's a bitmap in the code or it's calculated ? Because if it's calculated we can imagine "sideview stoxia.3sh /x640 /y480" x and y for the size of the image.

@MiDiaN I believe that replay was never published; it was presumably sent to one of Zak's old mailboxes. It might have been preserved (Dreadnaut retrieved some of those replays a while ago, though I don't think the time span of that retrieval included 2010), though it would take some digging to find out.

@Ryoma - Sorry I missed your post a way back. Yes, I can compile the code to get you a renderer. It's currently rendering small images. It's easy to render bigger, but it will be more obvious that the wheels are 2D, but yes, I can isolate that for you. You want a DOS executable or a Linux/Windows one?

Thanks guys! I'm still trying to find a replay or even a video of the world record!

@MiDiaN As Alan notes, in the past (up to ZCT169) the replays were distributed along with the track of the next race. It changed in ZCT170, as a new archiving system began to be used.

You mean Default? You'll find those replays in the z80 zip file: https://zak.stunts.hu/archives/tracks/zct080.zip That's a very good replay but not the world record. The record belongs to Renato Biker with a 0:30.35 since the 2010-02-23.
If you like to watch more original tracks records you can download them from www.raceforkicks.com Those replays are public and there are some world records

Season 2007 Track C79 (Default) is missing the replays folder . I was curious how fast someone could race that track. Anyone knows where to find it?
