  Hi guys! Sorry if I'm a bit absent, but I've a lot of things to do on various fronts. I noticed just two minor issues in the new site setting: there is a latin1/utf8 clash (see the umlauted "o" in ZCT158 which is not displayed correctly), and my Damage Inc. affiliation does not appear.

  It's curious how, in the ZCT158 scoreboard, Böllér Jani has a proper umlaut but Böbszlee doesn't. It is likely an issue affecting older profiles (note also how there is no flag next to Böbszlee's entry - Leo pointed out a while ago that the same thing happened with his old profile).

  We had a nice season start thanks to you all! 15 racers gathered at the starting line and some fierce battles emerged with roaring Porsches all around.

  The three racers on the podium left the pack behind: Akoss Poo finished third, CTG second, and Duplode won. This means another victory for Looping Warriors as well - seems the team wants another title this year? We'll see if there'll be any strong contenders.

  On the LTB front CTG secured two and Akoss one point, establishing a difference in points from the non-podiumers, not only a difference in time.

  The public replays system seems to work well - at least I suspect it is one of the reasons for the strong replays in the mid-field.

  Last but not least, a great welcome to all our newbies: Marco, The Stig, afullo, kahdra, gtament - welcome! Hope you'll enjoy playing with us!

  And now on to ZCT163 - Full House. A twisting-turning yet quite fast track - time to warm your brakes too. Enjoy!

  I'm rather satisfied with this race. Good 3rd place, good replays even behind me. Much stronger race than in the past months. Good to see my girlfriend being faster than Afullo's quiet replay. It was her 3rd day when she played Stunts in her life.

  I feel the top replays were quite solid for a trickless car like Carrera. The only thing missing were crazy RH bug jumps a la Z86, and perhaps an impossible (?) cut past the final bridge corners, and I don't think those mean much for the quality of the race.

  Hi ... 15 seconds behind the lead means that we are running in another championship. First positions skills are unbelievable and the very first 2 positions replays are also completely different. Duplode, CTG, how can you perform close turn on fly when you jump and how can you turn at almost 150mph before the last tunnel ? After see your replays, it seems to me that my 15 seconds are a little gap ... My feeling is to be 2 minutes behind looking at you . Thanks Leo ))

  Marco: Air turns are all about drifting. Sans all differences between cars and track combos, the general idea is to begin sliding before the jump, adjusting it to get the desired flight angle and mid-air spinning and finally getting the car to snap back into control after landing. As for that fast left turn, it was a question of taking advantage of the widening of the track due to the boulevard before it to make the driving line through the corner as open as possible (larger turn radius -> higher possible speed). Similar lines are often seen, for instance, when there is a left-right fast chicane before a left corner.

  WOW ... when I have seen the CTG 1:17.30 time I thought ... ok he made the perfect lap. But when I was seeing the replay I understood that he was still joking !!! The first part is really fast, he reaches the base of the first jump in 15.35 (!) . Also if he pass through the wall , his turn skill is Great !!! I'm not an expert but looking at the rest of the replay, I think that he has still the possibility to lower of some seconds !!! . Akoss reached a fastest speed on the last part achieving a little bump. Tricking and cutting aside ... it's really hard for me to turn as you turn, so high rpm without skiding. I didn't read your newby but I don't think that there's explained as to play soccer as Maradona or Pelè (because we have argentinian and brasilian here, better named both) Don't know if it's an experience problem or skill limit.   Marco: the key to fast turning is keep pressing and releasing the acceleration and turning key very fast in an alternated fashion. I must admit, perhaps it is the hardest with the Porsche 962. I was also unable to master this car - one can take a single large corner in 5th gear.

  Is it important if your opponent is a ghost, a hacker, a re-nick or a natural driver? On each online sites (not only Stunts), you have to race against unidentified characters. Ghostbusting is another quasi-impossible task. Creating and pursuing ghosts are both just a waste of time. Your only decision is if you race or not (at least mine). There's no need to close the site, to ban any character or to start a n+10000th flamewar. BÖFF!

  One problem I noticed in the use of ghosts is that it turns out to discourage new entrants or those who fight for intermediate positions. Imagine sweat to stay in the top ten and not get why someone who has more skill creates a ghost that sends a faster replay.

  Marco is not Argammon. An evidence is a question made by him using the latin form of questioning, using only the "?" sign, very common in portuguese and italian languages. Spanish language have an upside down ? to mark the start of questions. Argammon is german native speaker and german language uses similar structures of english. There are some unknown facts about the Argammon's Orion exit that is more another evidence that they aren't the same person.

  To understand: a strong ghost can decide the championship. Hipotetycal situation: a racer is very strong in a track and this is the last race of season. His rival needs a 2nd place to be champion. Then, the ghost send a replay to be the 2nd, the racer are the 1st and the championship is winned with a dirty game.

It's a shame that some people can't stand something built for fun (and free!). They must corrupt it turning to a bad joke. The only objective of that people is make sure it happen. And you won, you really won. Almost every competition since you joined is a joke. Sad people you are. I'm very dissapointed.
