@Duplode Thanks for your answer! Of course I will send better GAR replays, live driving is very funny.

@VictorNarl That part is fine. When we say "collision bugs", we usually mean things that blatantly subvert our expectations of the physics (like driving through slalom blocks, to mention one very clear example). Kissing the wall at low speed without crashing is just normal driving, even if it happens a few times in quick succession like at the u/d cork in Alain's lap.

@Duplode, I would like to clarify the GAR rules regarding collisions with walls: in Alain mark's GAR replay at ~0:49:45 there are multiple touches of the wall of the "horn" type ascent, and then multiple touches of the wall of the bridge - this is the so-called collision bug. Is its use in GAR also prohibited or not?

@Alain I've watched your 1:05.60/1:02.32, and, as far as I can tell, there always is at least one wheel in contact with the pipe surface, and so the car is never fully airborne there. It's a very close call, but it seems fine to leave the GAR tag on for this one. Thanks for the heads-up -- and do send better replays anyway! Cheesy

My latest GAR rpl might break some GAR rules: wheel contact on the tube and collision bug. I'm sorry about that. I'll send better rpls to correct the mistake!

@Duplode, I'm wondering how PTB will be taken into account in the current race? There should be only 599 hours here, not 600. or will the last hour of PTB leading overlap with Quiet mode?
Duplode -2 days
@VictorNarl The smoothest option IMO is to change between CET and CEST in order to consistently follow the server time (that is, Budapest time); however, that comes with a few technical annoyances of its own (sin particular when DST ends). I have been adjusting for DST in the charts I've been posting (see ZCT284 and ZCT292 last year), but it's not 100% certain that we'll keep doing it in the final implementation of PTB.

@Duplode, I wonder how the transition CET < - > CEST is taken into account when calculating PTB and whether it is taken into account at all?

Thanks for the reminder @Victor_Narl ! I won't miss this race either 😀. R4K is the only OWOOTR competition, so it's the natural heir of ISA Competition but with its own soul.

r4k-2021.png Only 3 days left until the R4K deadline https://www.raceforkicks.com/ According to the rules, to participate in the Quiet option, you must first publish a visible replay. @AlanRotoi, unfortunately I still don't see your result in R4K this month, and I still can't believe you withdrew from that competition
