Guys, Race For Kicks is up and running again, new version! Smiley But... it's not finished. You'll see that the graphics need some tuning and that I still have not started any race in "Races", although the permanent competition is already active (in "Tracks"). I have not uploaded the rules and there may be some bugs. Also, it's not very clear that "Tracks" leads to the Permanent Competition and that "Races" leads to the current race when active, so I need to reorganise a few things. Old races cannot be seen (but are still there). Still, it works. You can go ahead and comment... and if you find bugs, let me know Smiley - Here it is: http://r4k.fnhost.org

Due to Corona I can't compete - since ~3 weeks I'm sleeping at my Mums flat and don't have access to my computer
  • Cas
Oh! Well, we'll be free from it again and we'll be able to race together Smiley

Quiet replays published, and there's a double surprise!
  • dreadnaut
Replays checked, scoreboard confirmed! Congratulations to @CTG, @Alan, and @Duplode, who took the lead in the last 20 minutes of the race, and found time to improve Shocked Have a look at the top two replays for a rarely seen cork l/r trick!
  • dreadnaut
And the new track is up, with the race starting at midnight. Thanks for @GTAMan15 for preparing it!

Hello everyone! It is a difficult time all over the world this spring, and maybe Stunts is not a top priority, but here we are. I hope you and your families are OK, and have a safe place to be in these stressful days. If you feel like talking about how things are going, join us on the forum.

But do not add ZakStunts on top of your worries! I'm here to keep things running! ?

Three races have concluded, so the season is now rolling at full speed. Leading the scoreboard with three wins is Duplode, with an 8-point lead over the next racers. It's far too early to say anything about the season, but if anyone else wants to go for the title, they'd better put Duplode in their side mirrors. We've recently seen some good results from CTG and Alan Rotoi, so expect a battle! The members of the newly formed Traction Faction team are also working hard, and are clearly eager to step on the podium.

And if you need more Stunts in your life, look no further: a refreshed Race 4 Kicks has just reopened, and Cas has included a permanent competition on classic tracks; Overdrijf instead is organising live races—go check the forum, there might be one tonight. ?

  • Duplode
What an interesting race! I'm happy that my sprint in the final minutes has paid off.
  • Alan Rotoi
    Congrats @Dup That's a winner's replay Wink
  • dreadnaut
I'm quite satisfied about how ZCT224 turned out, although you guys used all the wrong cars! Tongue
  • Duplode
We're having a live race in a few minutes. Enter the chat at http://forum.stunts.hu/chat/ if you want to join!

Amazing cork l/r trick in ZCT224 - have never seen that before! And here I was thinking I might have a chance at the podium Sad Can we give the Vette a little more bonus love for the next round? Can never seem to make decent times in it...

  • Overdrijf
I found a sort of bug in the new leading time bonus system. I had 11 hours saved but didn't get any leading hours in the last race, so the system reset me, because it went over the list and didn't see any time from me it had to carry over.

P.S. it's pretty funny to me that the Mercedes is on top while the cars on the scoreboard line up to form the German flag color wise. It's like a visual representation of "Deutschland über alles" (Germany above all, in this case the other cars).

  • dreadnaut
Ah, there they are! @Overdrijf, your 11 LTB hours are there, but they don't appear immediately. I'll find out why...
  • Overdrijf
Ah, right, funny, so it merely doesn't show them in the currently running streak. As a super minor note: I just noticed the time calculation in the preview seems to round differently or something then the time calculation on the scoreboard itself. This time showed as 53.05 in the preview. That's not ever going to be a problem for anyone, just thought it was funny. Or maybe I'm mistaken or something.
  • afullo
I saw differences in rounding (plus or minus 0.01) too. Also, Leo noted that his 14th place in ZCT224 resulted in his profile in a N/A, which was also my case in ZCT183.

Dictionary Definition: boff. verb. (1) to have sexual intercourse with someone. Who are you boffing? Single person or all? Is it a request?

  • Reporting on ZCT224

Hi all! The third race of the season came to its end, and new pipsqueaks along with familiar faces filled as usual the scoreboard.

As for the previous race, the winning lap has been run on a different car with respect to the main one used by the most racers: this time Duplode set the reference time, minutes away from the deadline, by driving the Audi DTM in a sligthly higher time compared to Alan's Jaguar (who raced at countdown almost zero too), but the better bonus gave the former the tallest step on the podium.

With it completed by CTG in the third place (after being first until the quiet days), attention should be given to the Traction Faction guys: Stingray86 and Heretic were able to finish ahead of more experienced drivers, respectively Overdrijf and Seeker, by posting good laps since the first week of the race. The other Rolling Stunts guys, dreadnaut and afullo, along with Cas (representing the third car used by some players, the Lancia), completed the top ten.

The fourth race is underway, so stay tuned!

Hi, guys! Sorry about my disapparition. I'm about 80% back. Since last Monday, I've been fighting a dengue fever. It's the crappiest crap I've experienced as an illness and don't recommend it to anyone. Just yesterday, I was able to return home because I was hospitalised. Beware of mosquitoes! Anyway, you'll see more of me soon Smiley

  • dreadnaut
Welcome back Cas! Always trying to do something different, aren't you? Stay safe and take care Smiley
  • Alan Rotoi
Damn Cas! Wich city are you living now? Glad to know you are ok now!
  • Cas
Yeah, looks like there's always something new, ha, ha. I'm in Córdoba. I think this season we've been a hotspot here. There's been dengue in the city every warm season since about 1995, but this year, cases exploded. We've had over 2000 cases in the city alone. On TV, they've been warning about dengue for years and we've got used to listening that to the point we'd forgotten it was a real threat. I tell you, it's something to be taken very seriously. I still don't feel totally well.

How could you differ other diseases, when now everything is about coronavirus? Mostly every symptoms in Hungary leads to COVID-19
  • dreadnaut
Covid does not give you a skin rash, I suppose!
  • Cas
Well, with the situation, here you go to the hospital with anything and they ask you CoViD19-related questions just to make sure before anything else. But dengue is pretty different. It starts as a very sudden, very high fever and it stays up. With time, other things in your body start to annoy and that depends on each person. Some begin vomiting or get diarrhea, or strong muscle pain. Rash typically appears in the last days of fever (days 6, 7 or 8) and is very itchy and hot especially in hands and feet. But behind all these things, the concern is the dramatic drop in platelets during the illness, that can cause internal bleeding at any time if you're not careful.
