  I’ve decided: the first public play test for multiplayer Stunts will happen on Wednesday, August 3 2022 from 2-3 PM EST. However, I need some kind of live chat to announce the server address when it’s time for the test, and of course to allow players to communicate. I’ve heard discussion of live chats built into the forum; would that be possible for this event?

  @HunterBoy344: You cat get to the online chat here, from the website menu on the left, following the "Chat" link. The user name and password are the same as those of the forum. 3pm is OK for most of us, but not for Australia, especially during business days. We organise live races a few times a year and we typically do noon UTC or near. When we do organise, we tend to be about five people (although last time was very successful, with eight participants), but the more in advance it is planned, the better the results. I personally won't be able to participate because the website runs super slow in my computer, about 1 frame per second.

  Okay, that sounds good. 3 PM EST on Wednesday it is! I'll put the server address in the chat and shoutbox when the time comes. Also @Cas, I'm not sure if this will help at all but try a different browser when loading the site. Different browsers act differently so it's possible the lag is just caused by that and not your computer itself. I've already noticed some differences between browsers for certain event listeners on the client webpage, so it's worth a shot!

  I ended up forgetting the time and missing the first 45 minutes of the session. I'm impressed with it. I think this is a great addition to our live racing repertoire. For me the big wishlist items would be sound and fullscreen mode (or close to it). And after that maybe the ability to assign certain cars or car restrictions to a race. Thanks for working on this!

  System updates have not happened yet, are we are waiting for the hosting company to do it Hope they won't suddenly switch things without confirming dates — but I should be able to jump in and fix stuff if necessary.

  Happy birthday to @dreadnaut and to the lost pipsqueaks! I was out for dinner, but @Hunterboy344's experiments seem to be a major breakthrough toward playing Stunts as a "modern" multiplayer game (well, maybe not too "modern", without needing commercial subscriptions, and accepting that you do not own the game, but rather the right to play it under the conditions of the producer, and so on...)

  Got some great news: Stunts Online v2 is coming soon! Version 2.0 will include several important features and bugfixes! Additionally, I'm completely switching from em-dosbox to another similar system, JS-DOS, which is what allows for awesome new things like audio, mouse support, and possibly even fullscreen to be added to the game.   @hunterboy I tried v2.0 and it is very good. Sound works well, the game runs smoothly and the mouse work's to. A great improvement. Alt-enter crashed it though.

  Really glad you’re liking it so far @Daniel3D! By the way, I made a minor change to the audio: it’s a little quieter now, since it was really loud before. Did I choose an okay volume, or is it too quiet? The volume was set to 100% before; I changed it to 35%.

  I didn't have a problem with the second at 100%. I can always tune it down if needed and I can set sound volume for my browser specifically. I did start quite loud because I initially didn't hear anything so I turned up the volume, but when I clicked on the game window the sound kicked in.

I'm sorry but all the news cars won at the beginning of the season except mine because you gave it an disadvantage bonus (16% when the similar Delta was more and I don't spoke about others cars). I'm very disapointed of what you did and what you said about me and my job. I'm very disguted by your behavior and regret sincerely by authorized you using my car. If I knew, I would said "no". And, can someone can explained why a professional stand in the amateur league. It was not the purpose.....farewell

  What The Stratos was the main car 2 races ago? Are you actually doing this to make Daniel 3D's message from July 9th seem psychic? Setting car bonuses is hard. And a pro? You mean Frieshansen? A driver who only drove 3 races before this season with his highest position being 7th? How else was he going to be classed for this season? Your best position last year was 6th, with 7 races ran. I don't see a world in which we could have promoted him but not you. But he's been very active this year, founded a team and raced hard. You've sent laps for 3 races so far, and on at least one of those you actually said you were only submitting a time so you could give the map 0 or 1 stars. So that's 2 times you raced with any kind of seriousness. You're honestly giving off the impression that if either you or your car isn't effortlessly winning then everything is bad and we should feel bad. I mean... You know what, farewell. You made a lot of great cars. I will be forever thankful for that, and I will enjoy Stunts more for their addition.

  Forum almost there, still need some work to get the attachments to upgrade correctly — they are really important and I want to get them right. Haven't started on the Wiki yet. Website should be all good. It would be useful if you went around and explored a bit, see if anything breaks
