The first race is almost over! Let me know of any other active teams, we only have two at the moment: http://zak.stunts.hu/teams/
Zak? Duplode? Alan? Akoss maybe?
i just wanted to say I tested out the McLaren MP4 on the default track, where it is ~1sec faster than the Porsche Indy - something to keep I mind when figuring out the time bonus on the competition tracks
Cork's Crew lives on!!
Duplode duplodeing in the morning.
Scoreboard updated, and Leo's new track is up! Just one track away from 200 ZakStunts races!
I sent some quiet replays. But they are missing.
I did a 1:17.95 lap with McLaren and sent it friday night in brazilian time...
Whops, I forgot to publish the quiet replays That's fixed now, congratulations to Duplode and Imperas!
Not a bad start Congratulations Imperas for the podium! I will try to break this pattern of very late laps and do a lap today or tomorrow.
thank you, dread
anyway i noticed some mistakes about Rolling Stunts team 2018 points, it's 30 points instead of 21.
As well, I noticed several scores errors about last race of 2017 (December 2017), if u see: marco placed 3rd but he didnt get any points, finrok placed 2nd but he got 10 points and so on..
Imperas, as far as I remember, only the first two pipsqueaks bring points to the team, so the other two can only prevent other teams from getting more points. About the final race of the latest year, actually I saw some discrepancies too...
Looking the map, there aren't doubt about the name and number of track...
Looking the old archives, there are bugs with my results under the old alias. It's hard to know if I broke my consecutive races mark or not...
I've got also some other minor bugs, for example my profile shows that I didn't race in ZCT183, while in fact I got a 14th position (0.09 points, my lower mark ever).
Sigh, quite a few pages need fixes or rewriting :| I refreshed the scores for last year, and the last race is now correct. Luckily nothing changed in the final positions!
Sorry that I haven't been much present these days. High school students are taking exams, which means I have work as a private teacher. That's several extra hours from my time, but will give me some more bucks, ha, ha. Things will get lighter next month.
Some bucks or 'algunas platas'?
He, he... it'd be like "una platita" - I'm now with one student that will take his exam next week. After that, I'll have much more time.
Here the best months to do some private lessons ("ripetizioni") are between May and July, because both high school students have to prepare themselves either for the final tests (and last year pupils have the ultimate exam, "maturitŕ") and/or for the September appeal in the case some grades would result insufficient, and university students got the summer exam session. But you can do lessons all year round, albeit on a variable pace.
A run in Ultimate Stunts, without replay handling and feature exploitation:
Ultimate Stunts always reminds me that sometimes you don't need a remake
Well it's not so bad imho, it just had a very long development time, and will probably remain unfinished if compared with the developers' intentions (the latest version, 0.7.7, is dated September 2012). But similar projects like Stunts Rally or Stunts Car Racer (not the 1989 game, of course) for sure didn't go farther...
Happy birthday to Artur!
Thank you, friends.
Feliz aniversário, Artur Lojista (Mallmann é o Homem da Loja?).
5 men in the GAR, never seen in my life. We must also add the GAR rules in the site . Dreadnaut , what do you think ? There's a mistake in my video rules, I have removed the replay bar during the replay check (F3 etc.) while, it's necessary to leave it otherwise it could change the result. Can we attach the video on ZAK STUNTS ? What do you think, it seems to me that it's surviving since 2016
In Italy we used to say that "It's easy to speak if you don't work" . This is my feeling asking this to Zak & Dreadnaut but i would really appreciate if, in this beautiful Zak site, we can find a zip file with all the cars "bad or good" so to do not jump on other sites ... a full cars package as there is the track package
But yeah, no KITT there, or the impressive amount of airplanes CTG Stuntsyfied.
Ah, like that. The Southern Cross site still managed by Duplode has a bunch of them. Might not be all of them, but it gets reasonably close. It's a bit hard to find through the portal, but it's over here: http://scr.stunts.hu/mods.html
Overdrijf nice to meet you here. It's always a great pleasure to meet stunts cars maker. I love you. I found several cars in various of your sites, including a bus , 2 Toyota beautiful ... What i mean is that there is no a pack with all, properly all the addon stunts cars of the world. I can't wait to drive the SUPERCAR K.I.T.T by CTG !!!! CTG where is it
First replay of the year!
I was sure that My great friend Finrok will notice me here !!! Damn !! ))
Aaaaah! A wall of text!
I tell you what: if you or anyone else makes a nice paint-job for any of these cars (using Stressed, the same tool used for making new models, info on the forum or the wiki), drop the car with that extra paint-job in the forum thread (still here: Stunts goes Dtm then other people can use them as well. You can use anything you change about their look in the competition, similar to how there's an alternate paint-job pack for the Indy around. (I think? there might be a minor problem with the software trying to identify your vehicle if you use a paint-job number higher than it knows the car has?) Just don't change the shape if you want to be able to do GAR racing, but color patterns should be no problem.
@FinRok: When I did the superkart I made the whole dash from scratch, except I think I probably used some sort of template for the meters. That dash looks surprisingly good, even today, but it's not very detailed. It misses all the little shades around every little corner in the dash. The steering wheel lacks sophisticated shading. This works well for the kart, karts and simplicity go together very well. It was also the only way to sell the look of a kart, no standard dashboard would have done. For the DTM cars I was looking for a different look though, a light carbon or plastic dash with a bunch of switches and stuff, a racing setup. And that look could really use all the little details and shades and stuff I'm not as good at creating. So I decided to start from an existing steering wheel setup that looked most like what I was imagining. I did do a completely custom gearbox and knob, I redid the meters to match the performance of these cars, I "carboned" the whole background of the dash, and I created several custom elements for among the switches and stuff that serve to make them look like racing cars. Most of this stuff is shared between the three DTM machines, but I felt that helped give them a single identity. For the paint-jobs I first did some historical team paint-jobs, starting with the factory teams as paint-job 1. I also gave each car at least one paint-job that looks more like a civilian German luxury vehicle, as well as a bright green paint-job, because that's my personal favorite Stunts car color. The other jobs are basically me trying to see what other patterns I could make with the polygons I had (I started out having plans for at least two completely different patterns on the same car, but that was too complex, with the exception of the Mercedes because the primary job is so simple. Speaking of the Mercedes, (found here: Stunts goes Dtm that's also the only one where I seem to have done a proper non-light blue paint-job. So uhmmm... sorry? I have no plans to redo the dash. I like the result honestly, despite the copying being obvious. As for the paint-jobs, well, the 3D model can be freely switched out without impacting either performance or recognition by the server (the same is not true for the dashboard, the size of the gearbox changes performance) so I could so a 1.2 update I suppose...
