damn, my message got lost :(
I am loaded with work, so will cut it short. Congratulations to the winners! Nice air turns with the Lancias, Gutix gave quite a margin for Duplode, who came second. Bonzai Joe showed that the Carrera had a bigger potential than expected.
On the seasonal scoreboard Gutix has an advantage with the accumulated LTB, but we will probably see a hard battle later between him, Duplode and Renato Biker - three former champions.
The team championship is also interesting - 53-52-51 points on the first three places for the first three teams...
The car bonuses for ZCT106 (guest track by Duplode) are also quite leveled. Four cars follow the LM002 with 27%, three more within an additional 4 percent - a wide range to choose from. The track is tricky - I hope we are looking forward to lots of fun in April. Hit the track, guys!
Hi everybody!! WMCS6 is online...
Next update 4 april (holidays here ;-))
Hope you'll enjoy the track guys ;-)
3rd day, nobody on the board... negative record?
This is the kind of track to scary all fresh and amateur racers
It's great that we can finally have such a track now that there are never any newbies anymore
Just in case, some subtle hints for newbies: ZCT106 - Presto . The key message is: don't get scared. Especially you, Mingva
Mingva le van fingva.
Whatever - this track is madness - and the results will be, too.
Got some ideas where to improve - but I guess it's far from what the final winner will show :-)
what kinda stuff did you take, while designing this track?
Interesting to see LM002 usage...
The racers currently on the scoreboard are doing a fine job of keeping steady, if quiet, activity on this weird track in a time in which everybody seems to be so lazy as far as racing goes (myself included)
You are right Duplode.
Come on lazy racers!
Ok, I waited enough. Here is my opener
Another suggestion: try doing quick tests with different cars. The characteristics of the track and the closeness of bonuses mean that this time the effectiveness of the cars will depend a lot on your driving style.
I guess Acura is the fast choice for Presto
Hat off team mate :-)
a bit serious try.
The leading time from Gutix is solid, but Brian managing to go below 1:30 with auto-gears Acura is stunning :-O
first default time
So after all we do have close battles in the scoreboard for the quiet days!... less than 40 hours to the finish, maybe I should push myself to race a bit more...
Still missing one key trick - still, I thought this lap would turn out better...
Kinda better - will try to fix the final part just before deadline...
I just wanted to record a quick list-filler, and now my brain is bleeding.
update delayed, possibly by 2-3 hours
missed the race
sorry guys, I might delay the update a day. I am quite tired
Read "I'm fired" first.
But tired is no excuse :-)
Three of us within a second -- we do have a race here
Oh right, of course, the new season started. And we have a full scoreboard already, even @Friker is here! Nice! (As an aside, I do sometimes press escape during NoRH races, because I'm wondering if I went off track in that last corner, and if I keep wondering I will just lose focus and miss the next corner. So I look and then continue from the point where I stopped. I sort of assumed that was legal... Of course, actually looking usually breaks my focus as well, and I miss the next corner anyway. I'm just not very good at NoRH. )
Are you married? (kidding )
The same here. Presumably I won't participate in every race, so the overall results are not that important.
Accumulating remaining (not-used) leading time hours would have helped a lot when I raced for the overall (2002-04, 2014-15). Now I don't really care, do not expect driving all the tracks from me...
I'll try to make the accumulated hours visible somewhere. Looking at those numbers, you'd see it's unlikely to not a be problem—they are very small.
Hmmm okay, I can live together with such a concept, although I don't really agree with that - seasonal results should mirror only the performance in that certain year. It might be a disadvantage for new contenders like Poo or Friker.
@CTG That was my idea yes. You and Duplode (and a few others) can get 300h+ easily, but for those that might collect just a few hours each race, a yearly reset would crush any hopes of accumulating enough hours.
