Damn... I stayed here in Budapest just to see the results.
Mark L. Rivers
I'm leaving Italy for a usual short holiday in a European capital. I'll come back next Tuesday, and only then I'll see the results. I hope to mantain my "current" podium even if it will be difficult... Bye all.
Where the f*ck are the results?!?
Oh, Zak is tortuting CTG... ;-)
*torturing, I meant
OPTION ONE: Zak doesn't want to announce the title of CTG. OPTION TWO: Zak made an alert to all the top drivers to finish between Mark and CTG and it takes a lot of time. OPTION THREE: Zak is away or busy and CTG is an arrogant, paranoid asshole.
Maybe Zak has problem to find another special rule for next track as new ZS concept/championship will start in october only, or maybe november.
Why do I think that Zak won't ever update Z78 results?
Only if I'm worse than 3rd...
DAMN IT!!! Quote from Zak written in the Forum earlier: "september 2-8: Europen Youth Exchange (my 3rd in 2 years )) in Istanbul A city I long to see since ages! Topic will be the future of car-free citie, all costs covered. Suits me fine!" I wonder why he didn't update before he left. The only thing I know that I have to push hard on ZCT79 too because Mark will be in better position after this unclosed race.
Not unclosed, but undisclosed... Anyway, probably it's just that the extra day before deadline messed Zak's schedule up (August never looks like having 31 days...). Just some extra thrill for season's end
Zak is online on MSN... does it mean any good news for those waiting for the results?
brief info: I'm not in Istanbul No track ready yet No update today for sure
No motivation at all :-S
But "today" ends in 5 minutes...
I encourage Zak!
I want to run!
I was reserving myself for a hint but easy and to have more time!
Best Many Greetings!
mixture of option 2 and 3
and of course option 1
brief info plan for zak (only sample):
1 racerX 1:14.55
2 racerY 1:14.95
3 racerZ 1:15.80
not so hard exercise. we want to see the results.
RESULTS UPDATED - sorry for the delay. Congratulations for CTG - he won in a hard and close battle and also got the +2 LTB
The last track of the season will be out soon. We'll see who will be the 2007 champion of ZakStunts!
And after that? We'll see. I realized I got too distant from ZakStunts. I'm trying to find a way to enjoy being a competition manager again. Or maybe I just need a little break and be a simple racer for a while. There are superb competitions out there anyway. Don't know yet.
Heeeeeey I also sent a replay before the deadline, check it.
Sorry for my previous insultive behaviour, I was really nervous about the results.
no problem, I understand. Congratulations for your victory!
Gotta run now have a meeting due in 15 mins
/fireworks: CONGRATULATIONS TO CTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :fireworks/
Sergio Baro: Fel?z Cumplea?os, hijo...!!!
Happy Birthday, Super Brian...!!!
Gracias ! ! !
Thanks to all!
I am passing a spectacular birthday.
Greetings to all!
Happy birthday to Brian and Sergio. :-D
Thank you very much, and congratulations to CTG for his win.
Happy birthday Sergio.. ;-)
CTG: I don't know what the problem is, but I cannot send replays from Stuntcarfan1@ofir mail in the USC-competition in the moment, so you'll probably get the latest replay tomorrow from my second mail..
Late happy birthday to Sergio & Brian... ;-)
Thank you for the greetings Duplode and SuperBrian. I reward a Happy Birthday for SuperBrian! I ask... Won't there be competition here this month in Zak? Best regards to all!
We are waiting for the next track ^_^.
there will be a track, but with a little delay. Sorry, lots of work and bike races keep me busy.
Little trick on Mak?:
I would like to race the next track Or next season's first track. I have some free time in these days.
Mark L. Rivers
I never raced with you Alan Rotoi, but I heard a lot about you and your great skill. Also I saw some your great replays. It will be an honour for me to be on the same track with you.
But he's still a dog.
Thanks Mark! Let's hope next track will be out soon

I finished 2nd of the newbies League face to people who is not newbies.... For this race I spent a lot of time. You can count my replay which represent a third that I do for this race. During this period, I did not made any car.... All these sacrifice to have an unfair 2nd place. Now it's easy, I would come back with another pseudo...and at one moment win the race .... But I prefered stop this ..and maybe erase my méga and do anything else.
You finished 6th out of all 21 racers, new to super experienced, in ZCT238. If those kinds of results aren't good enough to keep you motivated you may in fact be too competitive for joining competitions. I don't really know what else to tell you. If instead of the newbie league we had a system of tiered scoreboards where you compete against people of similar skill someone with results like that on their resume would be racing in (something like maybe) the silver league. You would still be compared to some pretty strong racers. Yes, KyliE would (could, might) have bneen promoted to gold league with his third place finish in ZCT239, and Zapper would have joined him with the second place one race later. Is that the difference you're going for? The super league (Stunts Wiki: List_of_ZakStunts_race_winners ) would all be people who aren't elligible for the newbie league anyway. You know what, my whining might be on to something here. We could try marking racer's names on the scoreboard for "has won a race before" (super league, or wait, do we need an ultra tier for season winners?), "has placed on the podium before" (gold league), "has finished in the upper one third of the board before" (silver league) and "everyone else" (bronze league, or do we need another distinction within this one?). That might actually help newer drivers judge who they should see as their competition quicker. KyLiE would have won gold league this round and Heretic would have been this month's silver league winner, as an example. And I think Cas would have won bronze league, but I did not check all his results for whether they fell on the top 1/3 of the board or not. It might also chase people away because it smells like elitism though... Another alternative might be that you always start in the lowest league and are promoted based on internal end of the year results, but that honestly sounds like it has too many moving parts.
@dreadnaut I said 2 months ago that I'm not happy with the définition of newbies. Until a change, I don't want to participate...ok I will finish 3rd...what a challenge !!! I want to challenge people of my level...and maybe after the next level...
The results in newbies league since 2 races proves that I'm right....
Yes! Someone did find a way to jump from the final cork back onto the mainland! Thanks Alan, nice run! I didn't design this track with powergear in mind, but from the moment you posted that first run it seemed something like this was going to be the winning replay. (Although I honestly didn't know if someone might be able to get the Corvette into powergear to beat out the Acura.) The short powergear run in the first section is a nice bonus on top.
Again only 2 people close the newbies League.....
Okay, let's reveal the quiet replays! (The full update will happen as soon as I have my track ready to go, which should be before noon if all goes to plan )
You're right, it lost out narrowly on both 225 and 241. We quite possibly only still have a few months to fix that. (Or write the fact onto the wiki.)
Mercedes DTM is the only car used in zakstunts that never had a 1st place according to the Car podium stats.
